Bungled restoration attempt destroys painting

A centuries old piece of art has been destroyed, by a Spanish grandmother who was trying to spruce it up. The 80-year-old had a go at restoring a fresco of Christ, painted on a church wall, and experts say they are not sure the original can be saved. Al Jazeera's Phil Lavelle reports.
